National Association of Anorexia Nervosa & Associated Disorders (ANAD) Names Timberline Knolls' Medical Director, Kim Dennis, M.D., to New Advisory Board

CHICAGO, Nov. 3, 2011 -- /PRNewswire/ -- ANAD, a national non-profit organization headquartered in Illinois, aimed at preventing and alleviating the problems of eating disorders, has named Dr. Kim Dennis, Timberline Knolls' medical director, as a founding member of its newly established medical and scientific advisory board.
"Along with other members of the board, Dr. Dennis will review research, evaluate trends and address emerging issues in the treatment of eating disorders," said Steven Prinz, M.D., FAPA, FAED, vice-president of ANAD and chair of the medical and scientific advisory board.
Expert opinions and recommendations will be made available to professionals and families in the eating disorder community across the nation. ANAD will offer informative videos streaming from its website from experts on this board. Dr. Dennis and others will share their clinical expertise on these videos which will be available online 24 hours a day.
